KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan has announced public holiday on December 25 on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas.
The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on December 25, 2023 (Monday) being public holiday on the occasions of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas, as declared by the Government of Pakistan,” said a statement issued here.
Friday signifies the last day of the business week for most banks, leading into the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday will be normal weekly holidays, followed by Dec 25, which will be a national holiday commemorating the birthday of Pakistan’s founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and Christmas.
Pakistani government declared December 25 and Dec 26, 2023, as Public Holidays for Christmas celebrations.
