KARACHI: The non-profit Saylani Welfare International Trust has declared the opening of its brand-new initiative, “Umeed ki Kiran,” which aims to establish a nationwide network of cutting-edge philanthropic schools to enroll hundreds of thousands of underprivileged and homeless children.
According to a press release, the new initiative was launched at an event held at the Al-Mohsin Sweet Homes and Educational Complex in Korangi on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Saylani Trust Chairman, Maulana Muhammad Bashir Farooq Qadri, said that his non-profit organisation had embarked upon the mission of imparting quality education and conducting mass IT training to youth to earn up to US $ 100 billion foreign exchange for the country in a year.

Over the past 24 years, humanitarian projects and services have received Rs 60 billion.
He informed the audience that his non-profit had provided Rs 13 billion in welfare and humanitarian assistance to 63 various sectors both domestically and overseas in the previous year alone.
Maulana Qadri reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to carrying on its humanitarian work for all eternity.
