Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Muhammad Bin Salman (MBS) will visit Pakistan in the third week of November, local media channels reported citing diplomatic sources.
According to reports, a special Suadi security team will travel to Pakistan to examine the country’s security situation in advance of the visit.
The Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman will reportedly visit Pakistan on November 21. The Saudi prime minister is anticipated to present Pakistan with a further bailout package worth $4.2 billion.
According to sources, the MBS visit would also herald the beginning of large Saudi investments in Pakistan and the conclusion of numerous Saudi petroleum agreements. Along with the visit, a deal to build an oil refinery by KSA is anticipated.
According to the reports, KSA would also help with the construction of a cutting-edge oil refinery in Gawadar. On October 28, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan would shortly be visited by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The government is also counting on a likely agreement that will help round up financial support from Saudi Arabia for the establishment of a state-of-the-art refinery in Gwadar.
The refinery, to be built at a cost of $10 billion, will be co-financed by Saudi and China.
