RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry has announced the lifting of a ban on immigrants receiving full vaccinations from countries under a travel ban.
Saudi Arabia banned the entry of citizens of 20 countries, including Pakistan, in February this year, but after the coronavirus situation improved and the vaccination process, the country lifted the travel ban on citizens of 20 countries, including Pakistan.

According to the guidelines of the Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation, the certificate must be based on the full dose of one of the approved vaccines. A new list of Category-C countries has also been released in the new SOPs. The new SOPs will be effective from April 6 to 20. It should be noted that the UK had imposed a travel ban on Pakistan by including it in the red list two days ago.
According to the new SOPs released by Civil Aviation, Pakistan has removed the UK from the list of banned countries and included it in Category-B. Coronavirus test has been made mandatory for passengers coming from Category-B countries 72 hours before arrival in Pakistan. In case of a negative coronavirus report, passengers from other countries including the UK will be allowed to come to Pakistan in Category-B.
