Sarah Khan who is set to star with Imran Ashraf in an upcoming drama serial ‘Namak Haram’, has given insights of it.
Directed by Shaqielle Khan, the drama has been produced by Momina Duraid and written by Saqlain Abbas. Sarah Khan has shared further details about her drama serial Namak Haram and said that she got interested in the drama because of its unique title ‘Namak Haram’.
“The story is also very different which you will enjoy, I can’t reveal much about the story right now,” she said. Replying to question about the title, Sarah said, “I was curious to Know about the one who was the real negative character of this drama as per the title, then I also heard about the brilliant cast of the drama which includes Imran Ashraf, Babar Ali and others. So after hearing about the story and cast, I instantly decided to go for it.”

Talking about her character ‘Asma’, Sarah Khan said that in our society people have different perspectives regarding religion and the world, some are more inclined towards religion and some people take an interest in the world. “Asma is a balanced personality, she keeps the world and religion together. She is not perfect but she tries to practice Islam as much as she can. She wants to learn Quranic tafseer (translation),” she said adding that she tries to cover her head.
Talking about working with Imran Ashraf, Sarah Khan said, “we both were excited to work together again.” Fans have already witnessed Sarah Khan and Imran Ashraf’s amazing chemistry which they have already witnessed in Hum TV’s previous hit serial ‘Raqs-e-Bismil’.
