ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has expressed delight over the return of sporting events to Pakistan.
On a social media website Twitter, she said the opening ceremony of PSL has given a new life to the city of lights and the entire nation especially the people of Karachi be worthy of appreciation for these wonderful moments.
She said it is the fruit of the immense sacrifices and steadfastness of our nation, the armed forces, police and law enforcement agencies, against terrorism that our grounds are once more hosting international events.
