ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani will chair a senate session today to discuss 11-points agenda in the federal capital today.
The meeting will be held at 10.30 am. During the session, Senators Sherry Rehman and Sassui Palijo will draw the attention to the Minister for Petroleum Division towards the crippling shortage of gas in harsh winter season all across the country which has affected both domestic and commercial consumers.
A report of the standing committee on the subject matter of a motion moved by Senator Sassui Palijo on 2nd September 2019 regarding the syllabus prescribed for the central Central Superior Services (CSS) Examination in the country will also be discussed.
A report on point of public importance raised on 6th March 2019 regarding high charges of private hospitals and conditions of public hospitals will also be discussed.
Bill to provide for the establishment of Federal Government Employees Housing Authority 2019 will also be discussed in the meeting.
During the meeting, the senators will also consider a law for Mutual Legal Assistance in criminal matters.
