A Russian actress and director have landed on their scheduled time on earth after filming their first-ever movie in space.
On Sunday, after spending 12 days on International Space Station (ISS), Russian actress and director landed as scheduled on Kazakhstan’s steppe at 0436 GMT. The footage was broadcast live by Russia’s Roscosmos space agency.
Though, after landing Kilm Shipenko appeared distressed but he was smiling and waving to cameras as he exited the capsule. The film actress Peresild, who was selected after a long procedure from 3,000 applicants was exited from the capsule to applause and a bouquet of flowers.

However, Pereslid said that, she was sad to leave (ISS), “It seemed that 12 days was a lot, but when it was all over, I didn’t want to leave, this is a one-time experience” she added. Cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky carried back a team to terra firma.
Moreover, the team was in ISS for shooting the scenes from the movie titled ‘The Challenge’, the plot of the movie revolves around a surgeon who is dispatched to the ISS to save a cosmonaut. Anton Shkaplerove the actor along with two astronauts were already boarded on ISS. Meanwhile, the team’s landing was also recorded by the filmmaker’s crew which will also be added in the movie.
