ISLAMABAD: Russia has offered to give Pakistan Sputnik V vaccine to fight against the coronavirus, which has been declared a global epidemic.
The Russian-made vaccine was approved this year in August. The Gulf newspaper was quoted as saying that Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez had confirmed the offer made by Russia.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office told the Gulf newspaper that Russia had offered to supply its own corona vaccine a few days earlier. He said that the proposal received for final review in this regard has been sent to the Federal Ministry of Health.
He said that the approval would be given by the Federal Ministry of Health. Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez said that the coronavirus was contacting various sources to get the vaccine.

He said that the government of Pakistan was trying to make the coronavirus vaccine effective and its price would be lower so that it could be made available as soon as possible.
The Corona Virus Task Force in Moscow said that the vaccine is being administered in 70 clinics in the city. The task force, set up in Russia, said that the vaccine will first be administered to doctors and medical staff, teachers, and social workers.
The Russian-made coronavirus vaccine, Sputnik V, was approved in August 2020. Russia has recently launched a campaign to vaccinate soldiers with the corona vaccine, which is still ongoing.
