British-Pakistani actor Riz Ahmed’s short film has won an award at the 28th Raindance Film Festival.
Film ‘The Long Goodbye’ bagged the award online as due to coronavirus pandemic, the festival was moved online. Directed by Aneil Karia, a 12-minute short film shows what would happen in Britain if racists took over in the future. The film ends with a haunting poem called: Where Are You From.
Rizwan Ahmed is a British actor, rapper, and activist. As an actor, he has won a Primetime Emmy Award and has received nominations for a Golden Globe and three British Independent Film Awards.
Earlier, Riz Ahmed earlier revealed that he counts late actors Irrfan Khan as his inspirations in life.
