ISLAMABAD: Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who is also the chief of the Opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has convened a meeting today to work out a plan of action regarding the rising inflation in the country.
The meeting will be held at 3.30 pm today, which will be chaired by Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Leaders of all parties in the PDM will participate in the meeting through a video link.
Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, and Maryam Nawaz will also attend the PDM meeting. Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, and Aftab Sherpao will also attend the meeting. Other PDM leaders, including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Maulana Owais Noorani, will also attend.

The meeting will consider a joint strategy for a joint sitting of parliament on November 10. Eighteen bills will be passed by the government in a joint sitting, including EVM, e-voting, and giving the right to vote to Pakistanis abroad. The meeting will also consider a protest strategy against the rise in prices of petroleum products and rising inflation.
