It is noteworthy that newly elected US President Donald Trump had appointed Grenell, a foreign policy expert and former intelligence chief, as a special envoy for presidential missions.
Grenell had posted several tweets about Imran Khan’s release, but the persistent calls for his release from Khan’s supporters left him irritated, leading to an outburst at a user. Recently, he shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing the devastating wildfires in California outside his home.
In his tweet, Grenell criticized the policies of Democrats in California, writing that their policies were burning everything down to ashes. Grenell also urged people to stop voting for those who fail to use reason and wisdom in water management and forestry policies. On this post, a PTI supporter, Mohammad Nawaz Khan, advised Grenell to stay calm and reminded him to use the hashtag #ReleaseImranKhan again.
In response, Grenell angrily told the Pakistani user demanding Imran Khan’s release: “You don’t live in Southern California, so get lost.” After Grenell’s reply, the user deleted their post demanding Imran Khan’s release.
