LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) will hear the plea filed by Pakistan Muslim League-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz on 10th February seeking permission to travel abroad.
LHC judges Justice Ali Baqir Najfi and Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh will conduct the hearing in the same case.
The plea filed by Maryam Nawaz pleaded that the court to return her passport and remove her name from the Exit Control List (ECL) so she could travel abroad to meet her ailing father Nawaz Sharif.
Maryam Nawaz was granted bail by the LHC in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case last year in November.
Maryam Nawaz filed a petition in the previous month in which she requested the court to direct the federal government to remove her name from no-fly list to enable her to travel abroad where Nawaz Sharif was seeking medical treatment.
Maryam’s family including her brothers and have already been staying in her London residence to look after her father Nawaz Sharif.
Nawaz Sharif has been staying in London for his medical treatment, in this regard he was granted a further exemption in bail by the accountability court for 14 days in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
