The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), with help of provincial excise and taxation department, has launched the registration process for the January 2025 e-auction of premium vehicle registration numbers.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf described the e-auction system as a game-changer, noting its role in promoting transparency, eliminating corruption, and curbing the influence of agent mafias in the process.
Interested participants can register through the dedicated e-Auction App or web portal until January 30, 2025.
The platform enables the auction of both motorcycle and car registration plates, with the results and details of successful bidders accessible via the app.
Officials highlight that this initiative enhances convenience and ensures transparency, allowing users to bid for their preferred registration numbers from the comfort of their homes.
