ISLAMABAD: Central leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry has criticized the refusal to investigate the named suspects of the assassination attack on Imran Khan, saying it is akin to burying the law.
In a series of tweets on Twitter, Chaudhry expressed his dismay at the situation, stating that the rule of law has been buried in Pakistan.

Chaudhry emphasized the importance of investigating the accused and said that failing to do so would amount to burying the law. He also criticized Shahbaz Sharif and Asif Zardari’s statements on the matter, saying that they do not realize the gravity of the situation.
In one of his tweets, Fawad Chaudhry also announced his intention to file a case against the unconstitutional cabinets of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Article Six, with recovery to be made from the personal accounts of these ministers.
Chaudhry further clarified the Supreme Court’s position on the matter, saying that they cannot go outside the Constitution. He also emphasized that any attempt to amend the constitution should be done by consensus and not at the expense of the rule of law, and that was the Supreme Court passing observation about.
