ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that we have taken the Afghan Taliban into confidence while the situation on the border is satisfactory.
According to details, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed while talking to the media said that we have taken the Taliban into confidence that Afghan soil will not be used by terror groups against Pakistan.
During the talks, Sheikh Rashid said that the situation on the border was satisfactory. “Chaman and Torkham border is open,” he shared by adding, “Yesterday, some Pakistanis returned home from Afghanistan.” The federal interior minister said that we are ready to deal with any situation, however, cannot say openly, but so far the situation is satisfactory, he once again asserted.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that people from Afghanistan used to come to us who had problems with the Northern Alliance and other people. Earlier, Afghan Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said, “We will not hand over the TTP people to Pakistan, nor can Afghan soil be used against others.”
Afghan Taliban spokesman discussed the current situation in Afghanistan, women’s rights, and other issues, saying no one would be allowed to use Afghan territory against others.
