RAWLAPINDI: England are all out for 657 in their first innings against Pakistan on Day 2 of the first test match. England hit 95 boundaries (86 fours and 9 sixes), the most they have ever hit in a Test innings against Pakistan. Zahid Mahmood claims four wickets.
Experts say 657 is England’s highest Test score in the Asian subcontinent, they had never scored more runs before. Previous highest was 652/7d against India at Chennai in 1985.

Besides this, England breaks India’s previous record at Rawalpindi stadium, as it is now the highest run scorer in a Test match innings at Rawalpindi stadium.
Also, England’s 657 runs is the 5th highest test total ever against Pakistan in Test Cricket history. Earlier, West Indies scored 790/3, New Zealand 690, India 675/5, New Zealand 659/6 and England 657.
At the start of the Day 2, England team start aggressively again on the second day of the first Test match at Pindi stadium against the host side.
