KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh claimed to have arrested 21 suspects, including notorious dacoits, kidnappers, during their targeted operations in various parts of the metropolis on Saturday.
According to Sindh Rangers spokesman, that the paramilitary soldiers conducted an intelligence-based raid in Sohrab Goth area and detained a suspected kidnapper, Muhammad Hussain involved in many cases of kidnapping in the city.
Separately, the rangers’ teams carried out raids in Nazimabad, Saeedabad Garden and Kharadar areas and arrested 14 suspected criminals including, Noor Alam, Muhammad Rizwan, Asif Ali, Arsalan, Shahzaib, Nadeem and Shahid.
Meanwhile, the Rangers’ teams conducted operations in Gadap town, Kala Kot and Jackson areas against drug peddlers. They arrested six drug peddlers, Raheem Khan, Jameel, Kashif alias Sagar, Noor Khan, Islam alias Commando and Rehman. Rangers also claimed to have recovered illegal weapons, drugs and contrabands from their possession.
The arrested suspects were stated to be involved in kidnapping, street crimes and drug peddling. All detainees would be hand over to the police for further investigation, said rangers’ spokesman.
