Rangers arrest 21 suspects during raids in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Wednesday said that 21 suspects have been arrested including robbers and drug peddlers during raids in various areas of Karachi.

Giving the details, Sindh Rangers spokesman said that the operations were carried out by paramilitary forces in Baldia town, Korangi, Saeedabad, Liaquatabad, Mauripur and other areas of the Karachi.

He claimed that the detained suspects were involved in the city’s street crimes, drug peddling and other heinous crimes, the arrested were eventually turned over to the police for further legal action, the spokesman added.

Earlier on January 4, Sindh Rangers reported having apprehended 19 suspects during raids carried out in various areas of Karachi.

Spokesman of  Sindh Rangers had stated that the raids were carried out by paramilitary forces in the metropolis areas of Baldia, Korangi, Malir and other areas of the city.
