KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced the package regarding Ramadan in the province, approving providing cash to the citizens.
A meeting was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on controlling the prices of food items during Ramadan in which the Mayor of Karachi, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, IG Police, Secretary of Finance, Additional IG Police, Commissioner Karachi, and other concerned officers participated.
Commissioners and DIGs of other divisions participated in the meeting through a video link. In the meeting, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah directed not to do load shedding during the hours of Suhr and Iftar during Ramadan.
The Chief Minister of Sindh has decided to give relief to 4.5 million families with low income during Ramadan. Murad Ali Shah announced the Ramadan package of $22.5 billion for the province and approved giving $5000 in cash to 60% of the population of Sindh.
