Controversial Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant is once again making headlines — this time for openly supporting Seema Haider.
In a recently shared emotional video on Instagram, Rakhi appealed that Seema should not be sent back to Pakistan, emphasizing that Seema has now become “the daughter-in-law of India.”
Rakhi stated firmly that even though Seema’s past is connected to Pakistan, today she is the mother of an Indian man’s child and has married in India.
According to Rakhi Sawant, no woman should be treated so unfairly, especially after starting a new life. She added that if Seema had not married or given birth to a child in India, the situation might have been different, but now that she has rooted herself in an Indian family, expelling her would be pure injustice.
Rakhi Sawant further pointed out that Seema has also changed her religion, converting from Islam to Hinduism, and married an Indian youth named Sachin.

In her signature dramatic style, Rakhi declared, “Seema is not a football to be kicked out; she is a woman, a mother. Humanity demands that justice be done for her.”
It is worth noting that Seema Haider crossed into India from Nepal in 2023 along with her four children to be with Sachin, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, whom she fell in love with. This year, the couple also welcomed a child.
Seema originally hails from Sindh province in Pakistan and was previously married there. However, recent actions by the Indian government — including the cancellation of Pakistani nationals’ visas and orders to leave the country within three days — have heightened fears of Seema’s possible deportation.
