Students from Osmania University attacked the home of Indian Telugu film superstar Allu Arjun. The assailants demanded a compensation of one crore rupees for the family of a woman who tragically lost her life during a stampede at the premiere of Allu Arjun’s film “Pushpa 2” at the Sandhya Theatre a few days ago.
According to a report by Geo News on Monday, upon receiving reports of the attack on the superstar’s residence, the Hyderabad police acted swiftly, arriving at the scene and arresting eight individuals.

The report citing Indian media states that the attackers attempted to forcibly enter Allu Arjun’s home, breaking flower pots in the premises and throwing tomatoes. Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants were holding banners and chanting slogans demanding justice.
The police informed the media that initial investigations suggest that members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU JAC) may be involved in the attack.
Shortly before the incident, Allu Arjun had appealed to his fans on social media to express their emotions responsibly and to refrain from any form of misbehavior or abusive language.

Allu Arjun had previously announced that he would provide 25 lakh rupees in compensation to the family of the deceased woman and would also cover the medical expenses for the injured.
