Director Sukumar’s action drama, Pushpa 2, has solidified its status as a landmark blockbuster, showcasing an extraordinary box office performance that shows no signs of slowing down.
According to a report by the Indian Express on Monday, starring Allu Arjun in the lead role, the film has amassed an impressive Rs 529.45 crore net in India within just four days, with its global collection surpassing the Rs 800 crore milestone.

A film-industry tracker, Sacnilk, states that Pushpa 2 earned Rs 141.50 crore net in India on Sunday, bringing its total net collection for the first four days to a staggering Rs 529.45 crore. The production company, Mythri Movie Makers, previously announced that the film grossed Rs 621 crore worldwide in its first three days. Released on December 5 in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam, Pushpa 2 has been making significant waves at the box office.
Remarkably, the film’s Hindi collection has outperformed its Telugu collection, with the four-day total in Hindi reaching Rs 285.7 crore, compared to Rs 198.55 crore (net) in Telugu. The film’s opening day collection on Thursday, December 5, was an impressive Rs 164.25 crore net, followed by Rs 93.8 crore net on the second day, which was a working Friday. The film rebounded strongly on Saturday, adding Rs 119.25 crore to its total, and on Sunday, it earned Rs 141.5 crore net, bringing the total net collection to Rs 529.45 crore.
Pushpa 2 has also demonstrated exceptional occupancy rates. On Sunday, the film recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 73.50%, with Hyderabad achieving an impressive 79.50% occupancy across 1,024 shows. Bengaluru and Chennai also reported high occupancy rates of 67.50% and 65.75%, respectively. In Hindi, the film had an overall occupancy of 84.25% on Sunday, with Mumbai recording an outstanding 88.00% occupancy for 1,518 shows. Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) also saw high occupancy rates, with 78.25% for 1,762 shows.
The first four days of box office collections have positioned Pushpa 2 as the clear leader in all-time rankings. Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan follows closely with Rs 286.16 crore, while Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal collected Rs 241.43 crore in the same timeframe. Other notable films include SRK’s Pathaan with Rs 220 crore, Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 with Rs 169.5 crore, and Yash’s KGF 2 with Rs 352.5 crore.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh praised Pushpa 2’s performance, stating that it has “rewritten history” and “smashed every record” in the book. He highlighted that the film has achieved several milestones, including becoming the first Hindi film to surpass the Rs 70 crore mark on two separate days.
