LAHORE: Punjab has reported its first death of suspected coronavirus patients in Lahore taking the tally number of deaths to seven in the country.Â
According to sources, the patient was a 57-year-old man admitted to Mayo Hospital. Provincial Health Minister Yasmin Rashid also confirmed his death on her Twitter account.
The minister also said that these are difficult times for the whole country, and the only way we can fight against the pandemic is by staying indoors and following precautionary measures.

The tally of positive cases of coronavirus in the country reached 892 after more cases were reported in Sindh and Punjab. Earlier, Khyber Pakthunkhwa reported its first suspected death of coronavirus patient in Hayatabd Medical Complex in Peshawar.
The patient, aged 31, was reported to travel from Qatar to Pakistan and hailed from Hangu. His family lives in Qatar. He was brought to the hospital in a critical condition and succumbed to the deadly disease.
It must be mentioned that COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, is not fatal in all cases and a vast majority of patients fully recover.Â
