The Lahore Police in Punjab have successfully rescued 29 children who had been kidnapped from various cities across the province.
Three suspects responsible for the abductions, identified as Imran, Nasir, and Ali Raza, were apprehended.
The kidnappers allegedly lured the children, took them to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and subjected them to forced labor in mountainous areas.
At a press conference in Lahore, DIG Operations Imran Kishwar disclosed details of the case, revealing that the gang specifically targeted homeless boys, promising them employment. Once in AJK, the boys were reportedly held against their will and subjected to sexual abuse and forced labor.
The police have now safely returned all the children to their families.
