LAHORE: Punjab has crossed the 1,00,000 mark of coronavirus with 92 new cases in the province during the past 24 hours.
Overall cases of the coronavirus in Punjab have reached 100,033, a provincial health department spokesperson said in a statement. A new 39 infections were reported in Lahore, while nine cases surfaced in Rawalpindi and two in Attock.
At least three coronavirus patients, who were hospitalized, died, increasing the fatalities by the virus to 2,243. As many as 467 more people tested positive for the deadly coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours, lifting the national tally of infections to 315,727.
