The Dhee Rani Program has successfully completed 1,500 mass weddings. Awareness is being provided to the public on how individuals wishing to get married or their families can submit online applications.
Under the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, preparations for another 1,500 weddings under the Dhee Rani Program are underway, and applicants have started submitting their applications. According to the Punjab government, applications can be submitted via the online portal.
Residents of Punjab can also submit their applications at the district office of the Deputy Director of Social Welfare. A helpline (1312) has also been set up to guide citizens on the Dhee Rani Program application process.

Eligibility Criteria
- Girls who are destitute / orphan / Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) / daughter of a PWD of ages between 18-40 years
- Applicant can be the father or mother or guardian of the bride or the bride herself
- Must be domiciled in Punjab
- In case of more applications, selection of the applicants shall be made through electronic balloting.
- Affidavit (regarding being unmarried and willingness to participate in the collective wedding ceremony)
Special teams will be formed to visit applicants’ homes to verify eligibility and ensure transparency.
Program Benefits
- According to a report, the Punjab government will provide PKR 100,000 as a wedding gift via a Bank of Punjab ATM card.
- Catering for 20 guests at the wedding ceremony.
- Furniture, clothing, utensils, and other household items will be given as gifts.
This program has been launched under the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to support underprivileged and deserving families.
