ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Insaf Lawyers Wing (lawyers wing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) Shahid Naseem Gondal died from the novel coronavirus.
As per details, Shahid Naseem Gondal contracting the COVID-19 a month ago and was under treatment at a hospital in Rawalpindi where he died on Saturday due to complications caused by the virus.
Shahid Naseem Gondal was a famous Lawyer and chief law officer of the Capital Development Authority, Islamabad.
Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed grief over the death of Shahid Naseem Gondal. “Saddened to learn of Shahid Gondal s passing. He was one of our most loyal workers who stood with us during our struggle against the political mafias. My condolences & prayers go to his family,” PM Imran tweeted.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed grief over iconic Pakistani actress Neelo Begum’s death.

Earlier, Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Munir Khan Orakzai passed away from heart failure in Kurram, days after recovering from the coronavirus.
Irfanullah Khan Orakzai, the deceased lawmaker’s nephew, said his uncle had tested positive for the COVID-19 in April but made a full recovery and last tested negative on May 8.
