RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Rawalpindi District Shehryar Riaz has the party reorganisation process has been completed and new office-bearers will take oath tomorrow.
The oath-taking ceremony will be held at 2PM in Liaquat Bagh on 10th October. This event will be attended by MNA Sadaqat Ali Abbasi, PTI General-Secretary Amir Mahmood Kiyani and coordinator Saifullah Khan Niazi.
In an exclusive conversation with MM News, Shehryar Riaz said the main purpose of the reorganisation was the devolution of powers to solve the problems of the masses on a priority basis. He said the people would not have look towards their respective MNA, MPAs to resolve even minor problems and instead the newly-constituted committees will solve them.
He said the opposition had created an alliance to protect their own interests but the government is unfazed by their threat to launch protests and will complete its mandated five year tenure.
He said that party is focused on reforms which will have far-reaching effects. He said the party reorganisation was a long, arduous process and all office-bearers could not their desired positions but they completed it with ease.
The office-bearers of all areas will available for the residents and will solve their complaints and address their problems. He said the ensuring justice and serving the people is the foremost responsibility of the PTI as enshrined in its manifesto.
