KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aamir Liaquat Hussain has said he will present his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In a tweet, the television personality and parliamentarian said he is a helpless MNA of Karachi. “I cannot provide electricity to my people. I cannot bear to see the suffering of Karachi especially my constituency. I cannot bear the lies of (K-Electric CEO) Moonis Alvi,” he said.
Therefore, he said he has requested time from the prime minister to present his resignation.
Hussain was elected as an MNA from NA-245 (Karachi East-IV) Constituency in 2018 general elections. However, there have been allegations over the lack of development works in his constituency.
