SIALKOT: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former foreign minister Khawaja Asif on Sunday has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led federal government could collapse at any time.
He was addressing a gathering in Sialkot here today. The former FM said that even the supporters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are regretting its bad governance.
Asif added that the early elections could be called in the country, as the ‘incompetent’ federal government could neither improve the country’s economy nor reduce inflation.
“These people have brought a catastrophe instead [positive] change, PTI s own voters are admitting the failure of the government,” the PML-N leader said.
68 per cent of people said that Imran Khan was responsible for the rise in prices, he said, quoting a recent survey report.

“During the PML-N’s last tenure, medicines were available cheaply and cancer treatment was free across the province,” he said.
Last week, PM Imran Khan has said next three months are ‘important’ for the incumbent federal government led by PTI.
He was speaking during an interview here today in the federal capital.
Regarding the civil-military relationship, PM Imran Khan said that his ties with the military are “exemplary,” adding he hasn’t yet thought about a further extension of the COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s tenure as it will be decided in November 2022.
Shedding light on the recently held first phase of local government elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the premier said that the “PTI has suffered because of the defeat in the polls.”
