KARACHI/LAHORE/PESHAWAR/QUETTA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday filed petition in Supreme Court registries in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta, seeking action by Apex Court for registering an FIR of the Wazirabad gun attack on Imran Khan which, and action over ‘custodial torture’ perpetrated upon Senator Azam Swati, and murder of prominent journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya.

In Quetta, Application filed on behalf of Provincial President Qasim Suri and others also requested for suo motu on the issue of Senator Azam Swati.

Speaking on this occasion in Lahore, PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi demand of the Chief Justice of Supreme Court to form a judicial commission to investigate into the above mentioned incidents.

He appealed to the CJP to take up their petitions under article 184(3) of the constitution.

He said several key events took place during recent days, and Pakistanis across the world wanted to know truth behind such happenings. He said the FIR into Wazirabad assassination attempt on Imran Khan wasn’t registered on the complaint of the affected one, and instead, police registered the case as per their own version.

Shah Mahmood said Senator Azam Swati and his wife were ridiculed, and the party wanted the Supreme Court to look into the matter.
In Peshawar, provincial KP ministers led by Shaukat Yousufzai approached the Supreme Court Registry and filed the petition with same plea.
