KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has blasted the PDM government for ‘ruining the economy’ and devaluation of Pak rupee against US dollar.

Taking to Twitter, PTI leader PTI’s focal person for Economy Hammad Azhar said the rise in the prices of petroleum products wasn’t made due to international market, but the destruction brought to country’s economy by PDM had resulted in devaluation of Pak rupee against dollar, due to which all imported items including oil became expensive.
پٹرول اور ڈیزل کی قیمتوں میں اضافہ عالمی منڈی کی وجہ سے نہیں ہوا۔ پی ڈی ایم نے معیشت کو تباہ کر دیا ہے جس کی وجہ سے پاکستانی روپے کی ڈالر کے مقابلے میں قدر انتہائی کم پو چکی ہے۔ اس لئے تیل سمیت تمام امپورٹڈ اشیاء اب بہت زیادہ مہنگی پڑیں گی۔ یہ سب رجیم چینج کی بدولت پوا۔

His comments came after Finance Minister Ishaq Dar appeared on TV screens Sunday morning and announced immediate hike in prices of petroleum products, sending a wave of shock and panic among the masses who had been looking for petrol since last night across Pakistan.
Hammad Azhar further said all this (negative change in economy) became possible due to Regime Change in Pakistan.
