The crucial contest between former interior minister and PML-N stalwar Rana Sanaullah ended with win of PTI-backed candidate Dr Nisar Jutt.
According to unofficial and unconfirmed results, Nisar Jutt bagged 131,996 votes to knock out Rana Sanaullah, who stood at second position with 112,403 votes.
In 2018 general election, the PML-N stalwart had defeated Jutt in the same constituency.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) backed independent candidate Rehana Dar face blow against PML-N candidate Khawaja Asif in NA-71 Sialkot in the General Election 2024, after she was declared winner by 49,000 votes in earlier results.
The result was shocking for Pakistanis who were expecting Usman Dar’s mother to clinch as initial results showed Mrs Dar leading by 40,000 votes as the clock hits 4:30 pm on Friday.
