Pakistan Stocks Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday witnessed a bullish trend as the benchmark KSE-100 Index recorded 0.22% positive change, gaining 253.96 points to close at 113,342.43 points against 113,088.47 points in the last session.
A total of 460,240,793 shares were traded against 347,398,713 shares in the last session. The price of shares stood at Rs. 19,389,639,413 against Rs.15,021,043,187 in the previous session.
As many as 449 companies transacted their shares in the stock market, 236 of them recorded gains, and 146 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 67 companies remained unchanged.
The highest points during the session were 114,029.75
while the lower were113,060.25. Soon after the market opened on Wednesday, the bullish trend started and remained till the end of the session.
On Tuesday PSX witnessed a bullish trend during the whole session and the benchmark KSE-100 gained 1344.94 points to 113,088.47 points with a positive change of 1.2 percent. The market closed at 113,088.47 against 111,743.53 points in the previous session.
