Propaganda against Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman on social media has been exposed.
Yesterday, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman inaugurated the Tonk Piezo Road Extension Project. The inauguration plaque of this project was supposed to go viral on social media, so it was changed and propaganda was started against Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman.
By writing 4 km instead of 38 km on the plaque, an endless stream of criticism about the cost was started, which has now exploded. A tweet by the official Twitter account of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on the micro-blogging website Twitter has revealed the authenticity of the original and modified plaque, according to which Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman inaugurated the 38-km long road.

Regarding this propaganda, a message has also been issued on JUIF’s verified Twitter account, which reads, “The explanation of the spokesperson Maulana Asad Mahmood regarding Mufti Mahmood Chowk to Qureshi Mor Bypass, Mufti Mahmood Chowk to Qureshi. Mor bypass is a 36 km project not 4 km. The complete project includes double road, bypass, and flood protection arrangements. The posts on social media are against the facts.

It should be noted that Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman while addressing the ceremony yesterday said that tank city has always complained about drinking water, clean drinking water will be provided to Tank from Gomal Zam dam, this drinking water project will cost 100 billion.

The JUI chief also said that some communities are also affected due to the big projects, but the rights of the communities will not be usurped, connecting Tonk to York interchange with CPEC. In the briefing given on this occasion, it was stated that Rs 4 billion will be spent on the expansion of the 38 km long road.
