Priyanka Chopra joins ‘Matrix 4’ with Keanu Reeves

LOS ANGELES: Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has reportedly joined the fourth film of the Matrix series that features Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves as the main lead.

The movie Matrix along with Keanu Reeves also features Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Neil Patrick Harris in the leading roles.

As per reports, the makers have recently resumed shooting the film was as it was halted due to the novel coronavirus outbreak. The cast had trained for weeks for fight sequences in the film.

The movie is being directed by series co-creator Lana Wachowski. However, details about Chopra’s perspective character has still not been revealed.

‘The Matrix 4’ is scheduled to be released in theatres on April 1, 2022. moreover, Keanu Reeves decided to reprise his iconic role of Neo in ‘The Matrix 4’, touting the new movie’s “wonderful” storyline. He first portrayed the character in the 1999 original film.

Meanwhile, Priyanka was last seen in ‘The Sky Is Pink’ helmed by Shonali Bose. It was released in October last year. She is also working on a project with Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao.
