Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin has met with President Arif Alvi on the occasion of his visit to the Holy Prophet (PBUH)’s Tomb in Madinah.
President Arif Alvi shared a photo of his meeting with the Bangladeshi President on Twitter and said that he had good meetings with the President of Bangladesh in Makkah, Mina, and Madinah as well.

The Pakistani President further said in his tweet that his childhood friend Salman Rehman, who is now a Member of the Parliament of Bangladesh, was also there. He met him after 60 years.
It should be noted that President Alvi had left for Saudi Arabia last month to perform Hajj. In the absence of the President, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has taken over the duties of the Acting President.
