KARACHI: A complaint has been filed by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) with the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) cybercrime wing against a US columnist Cynthia D. Ritchie over ‘hateful’ remarks about late Benazir Bhutto.
The US columnist has posted critical remarks in her tweet about Bhutto and her husband Asif Ali Zardari.
The application against Ritchie was filed by PPP Islamabad President Advocate Shakeel Abbasi. According to the PPP’s application, “Ritchie’s remarks have caused immense pain and agony to the millions of people who revere and pay their utmost respect to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.”
“A photocopy of the tweet, a true portrayal of her sick and disgusting mind is attached with the application,” Abbasi said in his letter.
This echos stories of what BB used to do when her husband cheated. She”d have the guards rape the women.
Why do women condone this rape culture? Why aren’t the men ever held accountable? Where is the justice system?
To Pakistan’s youth: please reject this backward thinking! https://t.co/Xr3xTNzAVq
