ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced that he would protest during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s address in a joint session of Parliament today.
According to the PPP Chairman, his protest is the result of the government’s abuse over the opposition.
As per sources, Bilawal Bhutto meaningfully threatened that if the government abused the opposition in the parliament, then matters could get worse even during the speech of the Turkish president.
Turkish President who arrived in Islamabad yesterday on a two-day visit is scheduled to address a joint session of Parliament address in Islamabad today.
He will also co-chair the 6th Session of the Pakistan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in the joint cabinet format.
President Erdogan also met his counterpart, Dr. Arif Alvi yesterday evening. He was welcomed by Prime Minister Imran Khan and his delegation on Thursday.
