ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, on Tuesday has said that in view of the current situation in the country, mutual harmony is required by all political parties in the country.
The special assistant said in a tweet that Pakistan has always overcome challenges through unity and unity. She said the standing defense committee’s unanimous approval of the Army Act bill is proof that we are all united for the interests of the country.

Dr. Firdous further said that the unanimous position of political parties on an important national issue is a hallmark of democracy and that our top priority is to protect national security and interests.
Earlier, the Special Assistant claimed that the opposition had shown its national responsibility for amending the Army Act with respect to the issue of the constitution.
