BANNU: A Police Havaldar lost his life in an attack their picket in Bannu. The attack came within hours of beheading of an FC soldier in Janikhel.

According to reports gathered by MM News, armed terrorists attacked a police checkpost in Kangarpul area of Bannu, killing Police Havaldar on the spot. The gunmen managed to flee from the scene.
Earlier, a Frontier Constabulary soldier was martyred and beheaded by unknown attackers in Janikhel town of Bannu. The FC Jawan was gunned down, along with his son inside their home, according to the FIR. The victims have been identified as Rehman Zaman, 45, and Shahid, 18.

It is pertinent to mention here that the terrorists’ attack have registered a significant increase across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan during recent days. TTP, it may be recalled, had announced to end ceasefire in the last week of November, and vowed to carry out attacks across Pakistan.
