A key operative of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been arrested from Karachi.
The arrested key operative was apprehended during a joint operation conducted by Gizri Police and Intelligence Agency in Karachi. During the police interrogation, the accused revealed that he has also been involved in terrorist attacks on FC and Army.
The accused further revealed that he had worked with 5 major terrorist commanders of the organization. Furthermore, during the interrogation, the police came to know that the accused had also gone to Afghanistan to meet with terrorist organizations.

Police said that one hand grenade shell and one illegal 30 bore pistol with three rounds were recovered from the possession of the accused. It is to be noted that further investigation is being carried out by registering cases 162/2022, and 163/2022 against the accused.
