A case has been registered by a father against his wife following the death of their three young children after consuming allegedly contaminated milk in Rawalpindi.
The tragic incident took place yesterday in the Banni area on the outskirts of Rawalpindi, where three young siblings lost their lives after consuming allegedly poisonous milk.
The deceased have been identified as eight-month-old Martha Saleem Masih, one-and-a-half-year-old Nohael, and four-year-old Mansha.
As per media reports, the father said in the FIR that he had an argument with his wife the day before the incident. He suspects that, due to domestic discord, his wife deliberately gave the children contaminated milk, which led to their deaths.
Police officials confirmed that the children’s mother is currently under medical treatment at a local hospital and is already in protective custody.
Authorities further said that autopsies of the children have been conducted and the reports are awaited.
