KARACHI: The Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) suffered a setback in Sindh as former veteran politician Syed Ghous Ali Shah has decided to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Former Deputy Speaker of National Assembly Syed Zafar Ali Shah is also expected to join the PTI. Zafar Shah left PML-N in May 2018 and joined PTI but joined PML-N again.
Syed Ghous Ali Shah was Chief Minister Sindh from 1985–1988 and later in 1999. He has also remained the Defence and Education Minister He was elected MNA from his native Constituency NA-215 Khairpur in the 2013 general election. He had served PML-N Sindh President on numerous occasions.
