ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the premier was worried about the people suffering during the COVID-19 crisis, while the PML-N leadership was lamenting over Sharif family’s problems.
Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has criticized the PTI-led federal government for taking inadequate measures to contain the outbreak of coronavirus.
In response to Abbasi’s criticism of the government, Awan said “The people had thrown out political parties from the ruling office who could not run the country, adding that Abbasi should tell his party leadership to return what they took from the nation,” she tweeted.

“Now is the time to stand with the people of the country that you ruled for decades,” she added.
شاہد خاقان صاحب اپنی قیادت سے کہیں قوم کی امانت واپس کردے۔ یہ قوم کی خدمت کا وقت ہے۔ مگر افسوس کہ آج آپ کی قیادت کورونا متاثرین پر اپنی جیب سے چند دمڑیاں خرچ کرنے کی بھی شو بازی نہیں کر رہی ۔ دہائیوں جس ملک پر حکمرانی کی آج اس کے عوام کے ساتھ کھڑے ہونے کا وقت ہے ۔
