ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry today (Sunday) has criticized Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), saying that the party has no interest in electoral reforms.
In a Tweet, the Information Minister said Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz escape from negotiations on electoral reforms was very unfortunate. “Why would a party always coming to power through conspiracies talk of electoral reforms,” he added.

Fawad Chaudhry further said that PML-N’s claim that the reform process has to be done by the Election Commission instead of the Parliament showed that they have no understanding of the system and no interest in reforms.
His statement came after PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif rejected the PTI-led federal government’s proposal to hold the next general elections through electronic voting machines.
“The electronic voting system has been turned down by the entire world,” the PML-N president said, adding that such kind of important national decisions cannot be implemented on the orders or will of a specific person.
