ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to participate in the upcoming Senate elections and political activities in the Parliament.
Addressing the meeting of the parliamentary party the PML-N, Maryam Nawaz said Opposition will continue to play its role in Parliament, adding that the PTI government will be given a tough time on national and public issues.
Maryam Nawaz said that the decision of resignations would be taken by Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and all parties would be bound to accept it.
No more talks with the government Maryam said. “You will be shocked to know the details of the talks between the Opposition and PTI government,” she emphasized. She congratulated PML-N members for their steadfastness. Praising party leaders she said that no one can scare the lions of PML-N.
She said Pakistan peoples Party (PPP) chairman, Bilawal Bhutto should bring suggestions regarding a no-confidence motion and the PDM would consider it in the meeting.
Talking about the movement’s anti-government campaign, the PML-N leader said the 11-party opposition alliance will submit resignations and launch a long march “when the time is right”. She said the incumbent government should worry about its own ministers instead of the opposition.
Maryam then criticized the PTI government for its performance, stressing that the Opposition did not have to inform people of the government’s failures as they were there for everyone to see. “Every day the masses are hit with an inflation storm.”
She added that the country had not witnessed as many failures in the 73 years since it came into existence as it did in the last two and a half years of the Imran Khan-led government.
