PMD predicts rain with thunderstorm in parts of country

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological department (PMD) has predicted that rain with thunderstorms are expected in some parts of the country.

According to PMD report, rain with thunderstorms is likely in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

The report further said mainly dry weather is expected to prevail in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. On the other hand, rain with thunderstorm is probable in Islamabad, upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Sunday morning: Islamabad 11 degree centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar 16, Karachi 20, Quetta and Gilgit 08, Murree 03 and Muzaffarabad 10 degree centigrade.
