ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department of Pakistan has forecast rain in different parts of the country today.
According to the PMD, hot and humid weather is expected in other parts of the country during the next 24 hours, while partly cloudy weather is forecast in many parts of the federal capital. Rain with a thunderstorm is expected in different parts of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Rain is also expected in Sindh, Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab, while Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas are also likely to receive rain.
As per the department, rain is expected in Lahore, Narowal, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Mandi Bahauddin while thundershowers are expected in Murree, Chakwal, Jhelum, Attock, and Mianwali.
Khushab and Sargodha will also receive showers with strong winds and thundershowers. Rain is expected in Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Nagar Parkar, Thar Parkar, Islamkot, and Mithi during the next 24 hours.
